Loading and Unloading Containers
Our core business is loading and unloading containers of all kind. In the import and export trades you are at the right place with your FCL an Consolidation containers as well as with your out of gauge cargo and project shipments. The trucking of your containers from and to the terminals and depots will of course also be done for you by us. Furthermore we are glad to render additional services like weighing (according to “SOLAS” standards), customs clearances, packaging, sorting, venting etc. and also offer you the haulage of your goods within Germany.
We have almost no restrictions but if we do reach the limit of feasibility we involve our partner company and handle your consignments via their warehouse.
We are available for handling your goods from Monday to Friday from 7 am until approx. 4 pm. More information about our opening hours you will find at page 1. After prior agreement and for an appropriate remuneration, we also offer extended working hours, also on Saturdays.
Storage
We dispose of about 17,000 sqm of modern warehouse space, a pallet rack with approx. 2,250 spaces as well as extensive capacities in our open warehouse. Inventory management is of course held electronically. If you so wish, we can arrange access for you. Once you have access you can easily get an overview of your goods that we keep for you. The warehouse, established in 2012, is state of the art. The premises are equipped with intrusion protection, video surveillance and a fire alarm system. Beyond that, our employees will of course always have an eye on your goods.
Dangerous Cargo
Even if we cannot accept various IMO-classes, we are well equipped for the handling of dangerous cargo. We have employees that have been specifically trained for the process and the handling as well as locker rooms in our warehouse where your dangerous cargo can be safely kept.

Customs Clearance
We are also well prepared for matters regarding the customs clearance. Our customs experts are happy to assist you with customs matters and process your handling tasks smoothly, competently and quickly.
Custom clearances are made via ATLAS or are paper-based. We are “Lagertyp C” approved and are “Zugelassener Empfänger (ZE)”, “Zugelassener Versender (ZV)” as well as “Zugelassener Gestellungsort”. We also dispose of deferment accounts.

Container Transportation
Our affiliate, HCT Hamburger Container Transport GmbH, is in charge of the transport of your containers. Unilok and HCT are situated in the same building. This is how we guarantee a high level of service, short information paths and a smooth coordination among each other.
The organisation of the transport of containers that are loaded and unloaded by Unilok will of course be done by us for you. Should you have any queries regarding container transports or have transport orders without loading and unloading activities, please contact our colleagues at HCT.
